A229 Blue Bell Hill
This project for Kent County Council outlined proposed improvement work along the key link between the M20 and M2.

My contribution included:
•    The opening side panel containing text to accompany the 2D mapping. I took measures to ensure that the mapping remained in focus and the timings allowed for reading of the text.
•    The expressions driving the rotation of the North compass pointer. This is derived from a 3D After Effects camera imported via RPF frames. These RPF frames are exported from 3ds Max, the software used for creating the 3D aerial photograph layer.
•    The dynamic tags used throughout the 2D and 3D sections of the video. Created using expressions to allow for changing of text size, font, colours, pointer location, duration and more. The positions of these tags are pinned to 3D locations, made possible by the RPF camera.
•    The 3D lines throughout. These lines were georeferenced CAD lines, processed through Illustrator and imported to After Effects at 1:1 scale. Combined with the RPF camera, this ensured that worked seamlessly in the scene.
MORS Animation
This project for Network Rail outlined improvements for Manchester Oxford Road train station.

My contribution included:
•    Working on the timings of each scene, ensuring there is suitable time padding around the narration.
•    The dynamic text banners. Created using expressions to allow for changing text size, font, colours, placement, duration and more.
•    The dynamic tags used throughout the video. Created using expressions to allow for changing of text size, font, colours, pointer location, duration and more. The positions of these tags are pinned to 3D locations, made possible by the RPF camera.
•    The train lines and station circles, created in Illustrator and imported to After Effects, made 3D and placed seamlessly in 3D made possible by the RPF camera.
Balliemeanioch
This project for ILI Group outlines a new pump storage hydro scheme in Scotland.
My contribution included:
•    Painting masks for the trees in Photoshop. The trees are created using Forest Pack with the black and white mask defining areas where trees should appear.
•    The 3D context buildings. Some buildings were extruded from CAD lines; others are traced from the aerial photography. Care needed to be taken to ensure the heights where realistic and non-intrusive to the main scheme, yet apparent for context.

Wharf Road & Pierhead Modular Construction
My contribution included:
•    Working with the complicated and heavy 3D models, derived from Revit. Organising the geometry into folders and applying relevant materials.
